Will Smith has been a vocal supporter of Barack Obama and his plan to extend taxes on the welathy, but during a trip to France he was questioned if he would support a 75 percent taxation rate precisely what is being suggested by new Socialist President of France.
Business Insider explains, "The Hollywood megastar enthusiastically preached the book of paying one's equal share of taxes in a French television interview this weekend."
"But when questioned about his viewpoint on the tax policy of French president-elect Franois Hollande, Smith's was shocked silly by the suggestion of a 75 percent tax rate on those earning above 1 million annually," reported BI's Alex Biles.
"I have no difficulty with Will Smith," Glenn declared at the start of the video.
Glenn explained that Smith shares the same opinion as many in Hollywood the rich need to pay more in taxes.
In the interview, Smith replies with a "God Bless America" and a giggle upon hearing President-elect Hollande's proposed rate of seventy five %.
"You can see the actual shock of that number," Stu said. "( Smith ) isn't a tax expert in Western european economics. It strikes him as stunning as it should strike you."
